After I launched my business, I chose to earn several professional credentials, including the following: Nationally Certified Resume Writer (NCRW), Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), Nationally Certified Online Profile Expert (NCOPE), Certified Executive Resume Master (CERM), and Certified Job Search Strategist (CJSS). That decision underscored my commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Basically, my desire to help clients progress from where they are to where they want to be drives everything I do. As the saying goes, “life is too short” to spend it doing something you’re not happy about.
Furthermore, I consider it sad when people miss out on good career opportunities because they’re not prepared to take advantage of them. Whenever possible, I want to have a part in making good things happen for my clients.
One of the best parts of my work as a certified resume writer involves the many clients who refer people to me. In addition, I thoroughly enjoy it when clients come back to me repeatedly to request services for themselves. Certainly, I know this wouldn’t happen if they weren’t 100% happy with the work I’ve done for them. For example, one of my clients said this about our work together:
“Georgia is in a class of her own when it comes to resume writing. I was so impressed with her recommended changes that I hired her to revise my entire resume, update my LinkedIn profile and draft a cover letter. To say that I could not be happier with the results would be an understatement….Georgia has a passion for delivering the best product that she can.”

Briefly, you will experience the following when we collaborate on your important project:
As a careers industry professional with a commitment to maintaining a high level of excellence, I hold several certifications. These include Master Resume Writer, Academy Certified Resume Writer, Certified Professional Resume Writer, and Certified Job Search Strategist.
Over the years, my work has appeared in 12 books, including Executive’s Pocket Guide to ROI Resumes and Job Search. Also, I’ve written articles for print and online publications, including the blog published by BlueSteps (Association of Executive Search Consultants).
During the Great Recession, I was interviewed by reporters from two San Francisco TV stations, CBS (Channel 5) and ABC (Channel 7), regarding resumes and the tight job market.
As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, part of who I am “on the job” is the person I am outside of work. The care I put into my professional work matches my commitment to giving my best in my personal life.
Also, just as I encourage my clients to allow themselves some breaks from their job search, I try to take one myself occasionally. I share my home with a small dog (sadly, we had to say goodbye to our other dog in 2016). She reminds me to take a break when I’ve sat in one place too long (which, as we all know, isn’t a good habit to develop)!
